One of the best ways to celebrate the birth of our nation is to marvel at beautiful displays of fireworks through out the province. These top notch displays of pyrotechnics across the GTA and Ontario can be enjoyed from a park bench, standing, or a beach blanket with friends and family.
Harbourfront Center – Toronto, ON
This free performance at the Harbourfront Centre will end of an amazing day of performances and activities. The fireworks will be set to an inspiring national playlist by CIUT 89.5 FM and will be dazzling time on the city’s waterfront. The fireworks will start at 10:40pm and will last 20 minutes.
Spencer Smith Park – Burlington, ON
The City of Burlington invites everyone to bring their national pride and celebrate Canada day with free activities and entertainment all day at Spencer Smith Park. The event will last from noon to 10pm on Canada Day and will feature a Symphony on the Bay and a variety of cultural performances. The fireworks presented by BUNZL Canada will begin at 10pm.
Canada Day in the Village – Blue Mountain Village, ON
The Village is going all out for Canada’s birthday with activities spread across three days from July 1st to 3rd. There will be more than 50 shops and eateries open between 10am and 9pm so that you enjoy some delicious food during your day. The fireworks will begin on 10pm on Canada Day and before then there will be a delicious Beavertail eating contest and Live Music presented by Coca-Cola.
North Bay Waterfront – North Bay, ON
North Bay sponsors a Canada Day fireworks cruise on one of Ontario’s largest inland lakes, Lake Nipissing. The fireworks can be enjoyed by private boats in the Marina or on the waterfront. The display is free or you can buy a cruise ticket aboard the Chief Commanda II with a DJ onboard and a fully licensed bar and BBQ.
Lakeview Park – Oshawa, ON
Join the City of Oshawa in an exciting event that will take place at Lakeview Park from 2pm to 10pm. Visitors can enjoy food, entertainment, and a fantastic amazing firework display with family and friends. Enjoy performances from Sacha, Jabel, and The Doozies.
Harris Park – London, ON
London is hosting a fantastic celebration for the nation’s birthday with exhibits honoring multiculturalism and the country’s past. The activities start of at noon with a First Nations gathering that celebrates native culture. There will be performances by The Cosmic Cowboys and The Marrieds.
Parliament Hill – Ottawa, ON
What better place to celebrate the nation’s big day than at it’s capital – Ottawa! The city’s biggest celebration is on the Hill, with a day-long concert and a beautiful fireworks show over the Ottawa River. The pyromusical fireworks show presented by President’s Choice will begin at 10pm right after the Canada Day evening show featuring musical performances from Metric, Indian City, and more.
